The Final Beta was the final beta test for Sea of Thieves. It ran over the weekend of March 9, 2018 10:00 AM GMT to March 11, 2018 10:00 AM GMT.

New and changed game features introduced in this Beta included:
- The remaining two Companies were introduced and functioning: Order of Souls and Merchant Alliance.
- Company Reputation levels introduced
- The Shipwright is now functional and sells Ship customizations.
- Several new item themes added:
- Ceremonial Admiral
- Rogue Sea Dog
- Royal Sovereign
- Scurvy Bilge Rat
- Sea Dog
- Sovereign
- Item prices changed (most were increased)
- Fortress Raids added
- Chickens added
- Trinkets added
