Type Treasure

Bilge Rat Treasure are the various unique Treasure Items that can be sold only for Bilge Rat Doubloons to Bilge Rat Representatives in Sea of Thieves.

Mechanics

Bilge Rat Treasure are various Treasure items related to Bilge Rat Adventures or Mercenary Voyages that are mostly sold to the Bilge Rats Company Representative residing in every Tavern for Bilge Rat Doubloons and Bilge Rats Commendations instead of Gold and Reputation, like with other Treasure Items sold to the other Trading Companies.

As with any other Transportable Items, only one Bilge Rat Valuable can be carried at a time. Players cannot use items or sprint at the same time as carrying these items. When dropped, most Bilge Rat Treasures will emit a White Glint from far away, making them easier to spot. Treasure Items will float to the top when dropped in Water, however they will start sinking to the bottom after 5 minutes. Chests dropped on land or on the shoreline will stay in-game virtually forever. Untouched Treasure Items will disappear when an Island respawns. Items that have been dropped in Deep Waters will disappear after sinking to the bottom. Every Bilge Rat Valuable can be caught with a Ship's Harpoon with the ones that can be held in one hand being able to be placed inside Container Chests.

Bilge Rat Treasures often have unique effects or interactions tied to them, which are listed on their respective pages.

Rewards

Most Bilge Rat Treasure can be cashed in to the Bilge Rats Representative in any Tavern for Doubloons. Despite some of them have specific delivery conditions and locations, they are all included under Bilge Rat Treasures for their value to the Bilge Rats as is signified by their Doubloon reward and relation to Bilge Rat Adventures and Commendations. Most Doubloon rewards are not shared in Player Alliances.
