Details

Weapons are Items that can be used to attack enemies or other players. A player can have 2 weapons equipped at a time. Weapons may be swapped using an Armory.

The Pistol, Blunderbuss, and The Eye of Reach have 5 shots, and cannot be fired when out of ammo. Ammo can be refilled at an Ammo Chest.

New players automatically have a basic Sailor Cutlass, Sailor Pistol, Sailor Blunderbuss, and Sailor Eye of Reach available for use. The Cutlass and Pistol are equipped by default.

Alternate aesthetic versions of all weapons are available for purchase from the Weaponsmith's Shop.

All aesthetic versions of weapons function identically, and differ only cosmetically. For example, the Admiral Eye of Reach does not offer any different functionality than the Sailor Eye of Reach, despite its cost and altered graphics.

Cannons are mounted weapons that appear by default on all Ships.

List of Weapons[edit | edit source]

  • Cutlass: A sword with a variety of special maneuvers. It is the only melee weapon.
  • Pistol: A mid-range gun with aim-down-sights, but no scope.
  • Blunderbuss: A close-range, shotgun like weapon that fires a cluster of pellets.
  • Eye of Reach: A long-range rifle with a scope that glints when used.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • You can use the Blunderbuss and Pistol as a sort of flare by firing directly upward. This can be used to help players locate each other while exploring islands.
  • When fighting ship-to-ship, aim your Cannons just below the waterline on the opposing ship to make holes in their lower deck and increase the chances of sinking the ship. Aiming too high will make holes above the water, which may not help sink the ship.
