The Ritual Skull can be found:

Pirate Chat

The Unique Pirate Chat dialogue option for the Ritual Skull is: "This skull is warm with dark power..."

  • Up to 3 Dark Relics (Except the Enchantment Vessel and Evil Eye) can be placed into Container Chests for hiding and easier hauling.

Mechanics[edit | edit source]

Ritual Skulls are used to activate the Fort of the Damned (Raid) after lighting all the Ferryman Statues with every Flames of Fate colour. Three Ritual Skulls are awarded for a crew finishing the Skeleton Fleet battle. A Ritual Skull can be received from the Skull Stash Voyage, which can be bought from the Bilge Rats for 30 Doubloons.

Rewards[edit | edit source]

As of Patch 2.0.8 and the Fort of the Damned (Content Update), Ritual Skulls can only be sold to Duke for 10 Doubloons. This means that the Skull can no longer be sold to Order of Souls or Athena's Fortune Representatives.

Emergent Skeleton Captains Order's[edit | edit source]

Ritual Skulls could be dug up as a part of Skeleton’s Orders Quests that are received by killing Emergent Skeleton Captains until the 2.0.9 Update, when they were removed from their reward pools.

Dark Relics Mechanics (Legacy)[edit | edit source]

The Ritual Skull is one of the Dark Relics that could once be dug up on Islands and Fortresses as a part of the Dark Relic Voyages. The Ritual Skull can be turned in to Order of Souls Mystics at any Outpost for Gold, Reputation and Commendations. As a part of the Dark Relics (Event), Ritual Skulls could also be turned in to the Mysterious Stranger for Athena's Fortune Reputation by Pirate Legends.
