Events are time-limited challenges and live events which may offer extra bonuses to progression, or offer special tasks & challenges to earn various Cosmetics, unique Titles, and additional Currency rewards.

Events and their progress can be viewed and tracked from the Events Menu in-game or at the Event Hub on the official website.

Season Five Community Day	January 30 - January 31, 2022	A special 24-hour event to celebrate the Sea of Thieves community offering a Community Emissary Grade reward multiplier that can be boosted by the player community using the Twitter hashtag #SeaOfThievesCommunityDay (to a max of 3.5x), boosted Renown, login rewards, and the Gilded Phoenix Tankard via Twitch Drops.
Gold & Glory	March 18 - March 21, 2022	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation, and boosted Renown.
Legends Week	April 4 - April 11, 2022	A week-long event to celebrate 1,000,000 players reaching Pirate Legend status. On this event the Pirate Lord read all Pirate Legends IPs out to them and their exact name and birth date.
Season Six Community Day	May 14 - May 15, 2022	A special 24-hour event to celebrate the Sea of Thieves community offering a Community Emissary Grade reward multiplier that can be boosted by the player community using the Twitter hashtag #SeaOfThievesCommunityDay offering up to 3.5x extra Renown, a static 2.0x Gold & Reputation multiplier, login rewards, and the Gilded Phoenix Banjo via Twitch Drops.
Gold & Glory	June 17 - June 20, 2022	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation, and boosted Renown.
Gold & Glory	July 29 - August 1, 2022	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation, and boosted Renown.
Season Seven Community Day	September 17 - September 18, 2022	A special 24-hour event to celebrate the Sea of Thieves community, offering login rewards, Twitch Drops, boosted renown and a Community Emissary Grade multiplier on gold and reputation that can be boosted by the player community using the Twitter hashtag #SeaOfThievesCommunityDay (to a max of 2.5x), resulting in an increase in Ancient Skeleton spawns.
Tricksters and Treaters	October 28th - November 1st, 2022	Tricksters and Treaters is the 2022 Halloween Event, ready to mark the season of sinister surprises with some special Sea of Thieves initiatives? This event asks pirates to enable generous treats or undertake dastardly tricks! Tricksters and Treaters compete to raise enough points to meet their own cumulative Community Goals, with bespoke rewards and a Title on offer to those who play their part.

Gold & Glory	January 15 - January 18, 2021	Gold & Glory is an event during which gold and reputation are doubled.
Champions of Souls	February 4 - February 18, 2021	A new Order of Souls themed event tasking players to take on Ashen Lords, Ashen Guardians, Key Masters, Skeleton Lords, Ghost Ships, and more to earn Soul Fragments which reward Order of Souls weapons.
Festival of Fishing	February 25 - March 18, 2021	A fishing themed event from The Hunter's Call tasking players to catch a wide range of Fish. Players can earn Fishing Rods from the Gold Hoarders Set, Order of Souls Set, Merchant Alliance Set, and Frostbite Set. Completing Challenges will also reward special Titles.
Gold & Glory	March 19 - March 22, 2021	Gold & Glory is an event during which gold, reputation and renown are doubled.
Vault Raiders	March 25 - April 15, 2021	A Gold Hoarders themed event tasking players to collect certain types of chests or complete certain actions to gain Favour with the Trading Company. Doing so will earn player's Gold Hoarders Cutlass, Pistol, Eye of Reach, Blunderbuss, and a special Invader of Glittering Vaults Title.
Reapers vs the World	April 22 - June 22, 2021	An event themed around the Reaper's Bones and Trading Company Emissaries. Each week challenges focused around a specific Trading Company unlock, as well as long term goals for handing in Broken Emissary Flags to the Reaper's Bones. Doing so will award players with Items themed around each Trading Company.
Flags of Friendship	July 1 - July 15, 2021	A Player Alliance themed event tasking players to tackle a wide range of threats or complete certain actions to gain Favour with the Bilge Rats. Doing so will earn players the Flags of Friendship Scar, Flags of Friendship Makeup, Flags of Friendship Tattoo and Friend of the Sea Title. A special Pirate Philanthropist Title is available for leaving 100 pieces of treasure aboard another crew's ship.
Gold & Glory	August 20 - August 23, 2021	This weekend you will earn double the usual gold and reputation rewards thanks to a Gold and Glory weekend! Fame and fortune await on the seas.
Making Mayhem	August 24 - September 7, 2021	A two-week long event to celebrate Gamescom, allowing players a chance to earn the time-limited Mayhem Ship Set through completing challenges to earn Bilge Rats' Favour.
Jewels of the Deep	September 2 - September 16, 2021	A two-week long event that tasks players to deal with marine threats by completing challenges and selling Mermaid Gems and Siren Gems to earn Exclusive Cosmetics.
Gold & Glory	September 17 - September 20, 2021	This weekend you will earn double the usual gold and reputation rewards thanks to a Gold and Glory weekend! Fame and fortune await on the seas.
Fury of the Damned	October 7 - November 4, 2021	The Fury of the Damned Event is the 2021 Halloween Event, giving players challenges to reach Favour goals with the Bilge Rats to earn parts of the Wicked Web Set as well as the Destroyer of the Damned Title. A community goal is in place too, encouraging players to defeat Skeletons to earn the Wicked Web Figurehead and Wicked Web Collector's Figurehead.

Feast of Bounty	November 22 - November 29, 2021	Enjoy the Sea of Thieves’ glorious abundance in the Feast of Bounty Event! Earn Renown and special Event-themed cosmetics by completing Preparation and Celebration Challenges, sharing the joys of bounteous feasting with your fellow pirates.
Gold & Glory	November 26 - November 29, 2021	This weekend you will earn double the usual gold and reputation rewards thanks to a Gold and Glory weekend! Fame and fortune await on the seas.
Festival of Giving (2021)	December 13 - December 27, 2021	An annual Special Event to celebrate the winter holidays, offering challenges to earn parts of the Wreath of Winter Set and the Glorious Gift-Giver Title.
Grogmanay (2021)	December 27 - January 11, 2022	An annual Special Event to celebrate the New Year, offering challenges to earn parts of the Bilge Rat Celebration Set and the Celebration Celebrity Title.
Gold & Glory	December 31, 2021 - January 3, 2022	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation, and boosted Renown.

Hunter's Haul	February 23 - March 9, 2020	A Hunter's Call themed Special Event tasking players to complete various challenges to earn Doubloons and the Gold Hauler Figurehead.
Second Anniversary	March 19 - April 9, 2020	Celebrating two years since Sea of Thieve's release, challenges were themed to around Content Updates from 2018, with time-limited cosmetic rewards previously exclusive to those updates. The Hungering Deep Anniversary Event (March 19th - March 26, 2020 Daily tasks related to The Hungering Deep with the final reward being 15,000 and a re-release of the Drum of the Deep. Cursed Sails Anniversary Event (March 26th - April 2nd) Daily tasks related to Cursed Sails with the final reward being 15,000 and a re-release of the Bone Crusher Sails. Forsaken Shores Anniversary Event (April 3rd - April 9, 2020 Daily tasks related to Forsaken Shores with the final reward being 15,000 and the re-release of the Forsaken Ashes Cutlass.
Gold & Glory	April 10 - April 13, 2020	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation.
Competition of Courage	May 7 - May 29, 2020	An Arena themed Special Event tasking players to complete challenges in the Arena, rewarding Courage Set cosmetics.
Hunter's Haul	May 26 - June 17, 2020	A second instance of the February 2020 event, this event featured a single challenge of catching and selling 300 Ruby Splashtails for a reward of 150 .
Fort Nights	May 27 - June 17, 2020	A Regular Rewards event held during Lost Treasures, active every Friday night, during which, Crews received a x3 multiplier for any sold Stronghold items (Stronghold Chest, Stronghold Skull, Crate of Ancient Bone Dust, Stronghold Gunpowder Barrel).
Reaper's Rewards	May 28 - June 8, 2020	This two-week Event tasked players with completing challenges for the Reaper's Bones to earn four new Reaper's Bones Set Emotes.
Steam Launch Celebration	June 3 - June 17, 2020	Celebrating the release of Sea of Thieves' on Steam, players could earn daily rewards via Twitch Drops for watching Partnered Streamers for at least 30 minutes or until the streamer completed a Daily Bounty. The rewards were Mutinous Fist Set, Onyx Four Pack, and Emporium exclusive Emotes.
Tall Tales Retold	June 4 - June 9, 2020	This week-long Special Event had players complete three Tall Tales for Rising Morningstar Set cosmetics.
Blighted Bonus	June 10 - June 16, 2020	This Special Event tasked players to cash in 30 Treasure to specific Companies in exchange for Blighted Set ship cosmetics in advance of their Pirate Emporium premiere.
Shark Hunt	June 24 - July 8, 2020	This Special Event provided boosted Reputation and Gold for any sold Megalodon and Shark Meat.
Ashen Expeditions	June 17 - July 22, 2020	A Regular Rewards event held on Tuesdays during the Haunted Shores, offering crews double Gold for any sold Devil's Roar Treasure.
Skull Sweep	July 22 - August 19, 2020	A Regular Rewards event held on Wednesdays during Ashen Winds, offering crews extra Reputation and Gold for selling Order of Souls related treasure.
Rare's 35th Anniversary	August 4 - August 25, 2020	Players could complete five goals that honour video games from Rare Ltd's past. Completing each challenge grants gold and Doubloons. Completing all five goals rewards the Rare Legend Figurehead.
Wreck and Roll	August 19 - September 9, 2020	A Regular Rewards event offering double rewards for selling Shipwrecked Chests and Wreckers on Thursdays.
Summer of Sea of Thieves	August 19 - September 30, 2020	A summer themed Special Event with a massive collection of challenges rewarding thematic Titles, Doubloons, cosmetics and Gold.
Hunters of the Deep	August 26 - September 9, 2020	A Special Event tasking players to complete goals and collect Shark Teeth in order to earn pieces of the Shrouded Ghost Hunter Set.
Reapers vs Hoarders	September 9 - October 28, 2020	A Regular Rewards event active every Friday, where Gold Hoarders Emissaries would receive extra Gold for any sold Treasure and Reaper's Bones Emissaries get extra Gold for Gold Hoarders Emissary Flags.
Gold & Glory	September 18 - September 21, 2020	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation.
Fort Nights	October 28 - November 27, 2020	A Regular Rewards event held every Friday night, during which crews would receive a x3 multiplier for any sold Stronghold treasure (Stronghold Chest, Stronghold Skull, Crate of Ancient Bone Dust, Stronghold Gunpowder Barrel).
Stronghold Sharefest	October 28 - December 9, 2020	A Regular Rewards event lasting the duration of the Fate of the Damned, during which 3 of your Stronghold treasures would reward 5,000 when turned in by another crew.
Gold & Glory	October 30 - November 2, 2020	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation.
Fate of the Damned	October 28 - December 9, 2020	The Halloween themed Special Event offering players weekly challenges and goals to earn Soulflame Set cosmetics and unique Titles.
Gold & Glory	November 27 - November 29, 2020	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation.
Plundered Presents	December 9 - December 30, 2020	A Regular Rewards event held during the Festival of Giving (2020) update, during which 5 of your treasure items will give you 5,000 when turned in by another Crew.
12 Deeds of Giving	December 9, 2020 - January 20, 2021	A Holiday themed Special Event with daily challenges and goals to complete to earn Eastern Winds Jade Set equipment and the Master of Festivities Title.
Gold & Glory	December 30, 2020 - January 2, 2021	A special weekend event offering double Gold and Reputation.
Grogmanay (2020)	December 30, 2020 - January 20, 2021	Grogmanay provides players with 6 "explosive" Goals to complete that reward unique cosmetics to celebrate the New Year.
