The Bittersweet Battlegill is a species of Fish caught in areas of high danger at night. It is a form of consumable Food, and can be cooked for healing effects.

Uses

  • Fish of all forms can be cooked on the Ship's Stove, or Campfires on Islands.
  • Fish can be eaten to regain lost health. Each fish can be eaten twice. Cooked Fish give a Health Regeneration bonus when eaten.
  • Fish of any type can be sold to The Hunter's Call at Seaposts for Gold and Reputation (Half-eaten fish cannot be sold).

Where to Find

  • Bittersweet Battlegill can be caught in High Danger Areas.Currently these are near active Skeleton Fort and Skeleton Ship battles.
  • Bittersweet Battlegill require Grubs to catch.
  • Bittersweet Battlegills can only be caught at night.

Storage

  • Player inventory: 5 Bittersweet Battlegills
  • Barrels: 4800 Bittersweet Battlegills
  • Rowboat Chests: 320 Bittersweet Battlegills

(Fish only stack if of the same type, trophy status, and cooked status.)

In-game description

"When you've just had a nasty battle and you want some healthy food... nature provides."

Notes

  • Half-eaten fish can't be stacked with fully intact fish.
