Base Gold Reward ~1000 Gold Gold.png

Since 2.0 the Banana Crate had been replaced with the Fruit Crate that holds every type of fruit.

The Banana Crate is one of the three Supply Crates in Sea of Thieves, a portable container can be filled with fruit. It can be found on Islands at random, or acquired from a Trade Good Commission. The crate is usually found empty, and can be filled with up to 50 fruit. The crate can be sold or delivered to the Merchant Alliance in exchange for gold and reputation. Supply Crates are only requested in Trade Good Commissions issued from Messages in Bottles, and only one crate is ever requested per quest.

The crate requires large amounts of supplies for a meager reward, so giving it to the Merchant Alliance is not recommended. Pirates are generally better off using it as portable storage. Banana Crates are useful sustenance as a portable healing station when fighting skeletons.
